Why Project Management ?

     While studying at HCC I have developed my skills in writing and time management. I believe that these are key elements that I have picked up that help strengthen my career moving forward for project management. I was a tattoo artist before coming back to school full time and I believe as a tattooer I learned a lot about the steps of a good project. The main reason is because before each tattoo you have similar processes that align with project management. There is the imitation, planning, execution, monitoring, controlling, and closing. All of these are in relation from seeing an idea go from start to finish. When an artist first meets with a client this is similar to imitation, there is a process of the consolation that leads to production of planning. After there is planning you make a design that is fit for the client and then you have the appointment for the execution. The monitoring can be relatable with how you handle to customer interaction from start to finish and make sure you give them insight on how to even take care of it until it is fully healed. Closing is relatable to the final payments and reviews that can be left as the clients tattoo is healed to satisfaction that engulf the whole process as a project.
